Control:
Visiting Hours are weekdays 1400-2000hrs
and weekends 1200-2000hrs.
After hours all visitors must enter from
the main entrance off Stuart St.
Any person entering the hospital, who is
not:
- a patient
- a visitor of a patient
- an employee
needs to stop at security and receive
their visitor ID.
Crime Prevention:
KGH is a prime target for those wishing
to acquire others peoples property. The
number of people in and out of the hospital
each day number appx a thousand. New faces
on a regular basis can make it hard to see
a suspect, however there are some steps
that you can take to make your area and
yourself less likely to be targeted.
- Always leave un-necessary valuables
at home.
- Always lock up what valuables you do
use ensuring that you are using a locker
with a lock on it.
- Always be aware of other staff leaving
personal items unattended.
- Always notify security of suspicious
persons in your area
- Upon discovery of a missing item notify
security ASAP.
