The oncology program provides multidisciplinary, comprehensive cancer care
through core services including radiation, systemic and surgical treatment,
palliative medicine and supportive care in an inpatient and ambulatory setting.
Ambulatory activity takes place primarily in the Cancer Centre of Southeastern
Ontario. The program also actively participates in cancer and prevention and
screening activities. The provision of cancer services throughout the southeast
region from Peterborough and Cobourg in the west to Brockville and Smiths Falls
in the east, are co-ordinated through the regional cancer program.
