The SPA program encompasses the entire spectrum of surgical care at Kingston General Hospital including: same day admission centre, operating room, post anesthesia care unit, central processing services, inpatient surgical beds and anesthesia. SPA is responsible for ambulatory care clinics in urology, urodynamics/biofeedback, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery as well as an ambulatory nursing care clinic and pain clinics. SPA consists of all surgical specialties excluding cardiac surgery and gynecology surgery.
