Division members are involved in clinical research in multiple areas. Some of the current projects involve:
- Dobutamine stress echocardiography,
- Enzyme studies in acute myocardial infarction,
- Multimedia presentation as an educational tool in cardiology,
- Clinical use of nitrates in coronary disease and development of tolerance,
- Computer interpretation of ECGs,
- Studies in atrial fibrillation,
- Coronary artery disease in women,
- Educational methods for teaching ECG interpretation,
- Biventricular pacing,
- New ICD technologies,
- Investigation and management of syncope and
- Secondary Vascular Prevention.
We are also involved in multicentre clinical trials.
